- - Ms. Cray sent a nasty note about my drumming costing her the sale.
- - We wouldn't want her in future real estate transactions.
We got a very nasty note from Ms. Cray about my drumming 'costing her the sale.' We are residents of Kala Point and are on good terms with all the neighbors, and Ms.
Cray's tone and anonymous note-leaving left a bad taste in our mouths.
This is probably not the sort of person we would like to be part of any future real estate transaction, and we will be sure to tell our friends the same. Maybe you can talk to her?

- - REMAX HERITAGE Murrysville to REMAX SELECT.
- - No response for a year about $2,500 earnest money on cont.; Heather Shultheis not recommended.
This is one reality company that I even called their parent company and all they said was you have to resolve with the satellite office. The realtor @REMAX was overstepping her bounds by calling at odd hours and putting in information and invading privacy to benifit her with the contract agreement. After a while the corporate or satellite office didn't return calls.
Recently mentioned REMAX HERITAGE in murrysville, Pa.15668 name change to REMAX SELECT. Did not receive ANY response from a year ago about hand money towards a real estate pending contract and me as the buyer after placing $2500.00 and then employment finances were reduced making it not able to continue.
Corporate said they don't handle issues and ONLY the office where the deal was made. Heather Shultheis was the realtor and NOT RECCOMENDED!!!

Verified ReviewerREMAX Agent Cindy Edwards Mismanaged Rental Property Causing Total Loss
- - Property at 105 Renfro Rd Elizabethton managed by Cindy Edwards.
- - Rented four; three smokers; three dogs; two suspended licenses; no checks; $12k loss.
The issue has been escalated to their attorney who has stated that I am harassing and defaming them. All I did was contact Rhonda a 2nd time and wondered when I could expect a response since I didn't hear back from her for several days. I am in the process of writing a response to the attorney assigned to their defense, So far, he has provided nothing other than criticism of my pursuing the matter and appears to just try to intimidate and instill fear in me into giving up on the matter.
I would also like to add that Ms. Edwards stated that she couldn't get the pipes replaced because there was no company that would do that.
This caused the pipes to repeatedly break, especially when the weather got cold. This created sewage under the house more than once, whereupon companies didn't want to go under the house. Because of the aggressive pit bull dogs and the tenants being mentally unstable, it is apparent that no one wanted to take any chance of working around them. It is not known if Ms.
Edwards would be present during the time of repairs, but any company would not want to do work when there was a chance that payment wouldn't be rendered upon completion.
As one handyman said as to why he wouldn't work under those conditions, "It isn't worth a worker's comp. claim!"
Upon speaking to the sheriff at Carter County, Elizabethton, TN, he noted that Cindy Edwards has had other complaints against her. He also noted that the Baizes (the tenants she placed onto the property) were known criminals, and that David Mark Markland, for whom the Baizes associate with (via Facebook, and receipts presented thereof) has lived in residences that no one would ever want to reside!
I would also like to add that Cindy Edwards went onto the rental property after her managerial position had ended and used the tenant, Wendell Baize, who had a warrant out for his arrest, to do work under the house. He is not a licensed plumber or electrician.
She paid him with funds out of a personal account, not business account. A month later he was taken to jail, whereupon his wife stated that the problems that were supposedly corrected were still an issue.
Elizabethton, TN 37643. Since I live in Arizona, I needed a manager for the property. She said she would find good qualified renters. I told her to place no more than two people at the property, absolutely no smoking, and a well-behaved small pet allowed.
Instead, she placed four people, three smokers, criminals, and three dogs (2 pit bulls) into the property. Moreover, there were lots of maintenance issues for which she dealt with very unprofessionally in several cases. I didn't see the contract until after I fired her, whereupon she is now blaming me for placing the remaining three people (after the mother died) in the property that has been almost totally destroyed! These people must not of been background checked, for which two of them have suspended driver's licenses.
Criminal records for them were recent and easily obtained when I learned of their names. There were violations of previous property destruction noted by city ordinance for the mother for whom she claimed she only rented to her and a small dog. She has told numerous lies, and now I am out over $12,000 in back rent, and a property that would have been worth about $100,000 had it of not been ruined. I have pictures, lots of emails, and significant proof of my claims against her.
I want REMAX to settle this in a timely manner, but am already checking on hiring an attorney. Note: Unable to provide location on review site because it keeps jumping around and forcing me to select a location that is international.
- Disrespectful untrustworthy misleading
Preferred solution: Full refund
User's recommendation: No response from owner at Johnson City, TN office (Larry McLanahan). I was told to call Rhonda Sampson. No accountability. When Rhonda talked to Cindy Edwards, she provided misleading answers that kept changing to avoid responsibility. Poor property management. Blended personal/business accounts to obtain additional profit. Was not knowledgeable about maintenance issues, disregarding my advice as the property owner. She favored the criminals and discriminated against me, a senior. Not able to show or sell property, and next to impossible to get tenants evicted whereupon house nearly destroyed by the time they got out! I don't recommend Cindy Edwards at REMAX Properties LLC.

- - Stayed until Jan 10 after closing on 20094 Panoche Rd.
- - Mark delayed funds; Susan pressed for eviction.
- - A different realtor completed the payment.
This is the resolution of the nightmare at 20094 Panoche Rd. The property had closed; we were waiting for Mark to send the money to relocate.
We had made arrangements with the new owner to stay until January 10th. We kept calling Mark for the money, but he didn't seem to want to give it to us. Susan got involved and complicated matters as far as us receiving our money. She wanted us out as soon as possible, and had texted everyone to say the escrow had closed and the new owners wanted to move in on the 6th.
She then claimed that we were squatting in the house. However, as I stated earlier, we had made arrangements with the owner to stay. She said the owners would be coming with the sheriff to evict us, and suggested that we should leave to avoid any problems with the San Benito Sheriff Department. She told Mark not to pay us, then said she was done with the matter.
By the way, Mark isn't very bright; his IQ is around 10, just like Susan's. The other realtor got involved after Susan dumped the problem onto her, to obtain the money. Everything was eventually resolved. Susan refused to answer her calls and Mark blocked our calls as well.
Despite this being Susan's job, she didn't want to have anything to do with it. The other realtor managed to get everything completed and got us paid. We were out on time and everyone was happy. However, Susan's meddling caused us to lose the first house we had lined up to move to.
Susan kept causing trouble, amusingly not realizing we were a step ahead of her the whole way. I guess you could say the moral of this story is not to use a realtor who is as untrustworthy as they come. One other note, the realtors had a meeting about the sale of this house which also involved Susan.
All I can say is, good luck Susan in getting any kind of referrals. Thank you.

The only thing I can do is change the date for the decision to be made today and you initial. After that, it's up to them whether they want to continue.
They said they wanted to go see another house today so I don't know where they're at. You may have just lost your best offer in tens of thousands of dollars.

Supporter |Unethical realtor
- - No 120-day notice was given.
- - Viewings by appointment; trespassing reported.
- - Inspection was rushed.
- - Alleged discrimination.
I am the tenant of a house that was sold by Susan. The house went on the market around February 2024.
The realtor never served us a 120-day notice to begin with. Time went on, and people came by to look at the house by appointment. Then, people started trespassing to look at the place. I would go ask if they were there with a realtor, and they would tell me the realtor was running late.
They would ask me questions about the property, and I would answer them truthfully. Susan would find out, then complain to the owner that I was disparaging the property, which I wasn't. She told the landlord it would be easier to sell the property if they kicked us out. When the inspector came to perform an inspection on the house, she followed him around almost obsessively, ensuring he wrote down what she said.
The inspection lasted about 20 minutes, but it should have been around 2 hours minimum for a thorough inspection. This house has too many problems and should not have passed inspection.
Then, she wouldn't let me talk to the inspector, telling me 'Thank you. You can leave now.' This woman needs to brush up on the law.
She was trying to rush the sale. Neither the owner nor Susan gave us the first right of refusal. We wanted to put an offer on the house and told Susan that we were going through USDA. We told Susan we would give $5000 more than the offer she had, but she told us to get a conventional loan because it was too hard to work with USDA.
She took the other offer, and the buyers went through HUD with an FHA loan. If that's not discrimination, I don't know what is. She never kept us informed about anything regarding the sale. She lies and is untrustworthy.
She operates in an unprofessional and unethical manner. She just wants to make her money and run. I have not read one good review about Remax Gold and the realtors that work for them. I could continue, but it's not even worth my time writing about this person.
If it were up to her, we would be on the street.
She doesn't care. Do not use her services.

- - Alleges Amanda Shafer forged Blake Dougherty's signature on $400k home.
- - Unauthorized signing; agent and buyer are friends; court action planned.
Hello- I wanted to find out what I need to do to make a complaint before a lawsuit is filed regarding your agent at RE/MAX TRENDS REALTY, AMANDA SHAFER- 201900****. This woman is friends with the home buyer (Samantha Dougherty) and forged Blake Dougherty's signature for a $400,000 home bought at 2400 Miday ave NE East Canton Ohio 44730 a year ago.
They haven't been together for almost 5 years and he did NOT sign the paperwork for this purchase. I understand a signing MUST be authorized and done in front of the agent and considering this is her FRIEND they ILLEGALLY FORGED this man's name to purchase this home. His income is also not being put towards the home so the loan she received was also falsified. This is not only creating legal issues for both parties but affecting Blake's ability to buy a home for himself as this UNAUTHORIZED purchase was done fraudulently.
Considering the legal binding that comes with this and the fact that the realtor and the client (SAMANTHA) are friends it is obvious what was done was ILLEGAL and will be brought to court. The woman who committed this fraudulent act needs FIRED and/or sued. I would like to updated on the situation as we will be filing a motion for a court order regarding RE/MAX and how your company does business.
I am disappointed that such large purchases aren't taken more seriously and done LEGALLY by your agency. This will be brought to the attention of legal authorities to handle this according with RE/MAX.
